Bosch has designed its Xeo universal cutter with many new, useful features. This tool is now even more compact, and it offers a better view of the cutting line when cutting. It is for hobby use only. It also has a nose on the transparent protective cap, which makes it easier to guide the cut. The ergonomics have also been improved, and the new lock-off switch is easier to handle. This makes it even more effortless to cut different materials common in day-to-day use: everything from thin decoration materials through to cardboard or carpet up to six millimeters thick.

The new Xeo also sharpens itself like its predecessor, which means there is no need for blade changes. However, the new “Auto Sharp plus” technology is so efficient that the Xeo now offers 30 percent higher cutting performance. A new accessory is available. It is an adapter for cutting close to walls, which enables you, for example, to precisely trim floor coverings when laying them. The Xeo gets its energy from the integrated lithium-ion battery. These batteries have hardly any self-discharge and they can be recharged at any time. This tool is therefore still ready for use, even if it has not been used for many months. One battery charge is sufficient for a cutting length of about 150 meters. The charge level indicator shows the user when it is necessary to recharge the battery. During short breaks, the battery can be charged in the charger. The universal cutter therefore does not require any maintenance whatsoever.
